Most people think pie charts are limited to a single set of values

but here is a way to create a pie chart based on two or more columns of values

To see how this works, follow these steps. First, select the range and insert a pie chart

Right-click on the pie and select Format Data Series. This action will open the Format Data Series pane

In the Series Options section, choose the secondary axis radio button. Then use the pie explosion slider to set the explosion to 40%

It creates a separated pie effect. Now, select each slice of pie in turn and drag them back to the center of the pie

Remember that two slow clicks will select an individual piece of the pie. Now, click on the outer part of the pie and

In the Format Data Series, choose the secondary axis radio button and adjust the pie explosion slider to 150% to create a separated pie effect

This action reduces the pie's size while separating the slices. Again, select each slice of newly exploded pie in turn and drag them back to the center of the pie

To improve the visibility of a pie chart, you can adjust the angle of first slice slider for each series in the Format Data Series pane
