About This Tutorial
This tutorial picks up where the previous tutorial left off; we continue our look at disk drives, moving on to more advanced technologies. The lessons in this tutorial cover CD-ROM drives, newer and larger hard disk drives, and Small Computer System Interface (SCSI) drives.

The CD-ROM (compact disc read-only memory) is a technology taken directly from the audio world that has become standard equipment for computers. This lesson covers the basics of installing and using CD-ROM drives.
